The Underlying Causes of Cancer

Cancerous cells are always being created in the body. It’s an ongoing process that has gone on for eons. So parts of your immune system are designed to seek out and destroy cancer cells.

Cancer has been around as long as mankind, but only in the second half of the 20th century did the number of cancer cases explode. Contributing to this explosion are the excessive amounts of toxins and pollutants we are exposed to, high stress lifestyles that zap the immune system, poor quality junk food that’s full of pesticides, irradiated and now genetically modified, pathogens, electromagnetic stress, lights, and just about everything that wasn’t here 200 years ago.

All these weaken the immune system, and alter the internal environment in the body to an environment that promotes the growth of cancer.

Cancer is not a mysterious disease that suddenly attacks you out of the blue, something that you can’t do anything about. It has definite causes that you can correct if your body has enough time, and if you take action to change the internal environment to one that creates health, not cancer, while at the same time attacking cancerous cells and tumors by exploiting their weaknesses.

Cancer tumors begin when more cancerous cells are being created than an overworked, depleted immune system can destroy.

Constant exposure to tens of thousands of manmade chemicals from birth onward, chlorinated and fluoridated water, electromagnetic radiation, pesticides and other toxins, leads to the creation of too many free radicals and excessive numbers of cancerous cells.

Alone this would be enough to raise cancer levels, but combined with an immune system weakened by a diet of refined and over processed food, mineral depleted soils, and too much exposure to artificial light at night, the immune system at some point no longer is able to keep cancer in check, and it starts to grow in your body.

Adrenal Exhaustion/Burnout Program

(The Great Energy Robber)

(Fatigue-Stress-Worry-Depression)

The human body is a living “battery” that gives us an abundance of energy, love, stamina, happiness, and reason for living.  The adrenal glands keep that battery charged and keep us smiling.  When this human battery loses its natural energy due to prolonged stress, overwork, lack of sleep, worry, depression, marital problems, health problems or family issues, adrenal exhaustion begins to slowly set in.  When the adrenal glands are exhausted, the human battery begins to discharge and natural energy levels begin to deplete.

If you want to see a set of strong adrenals, look at children in a schoolyard, high school cheerleaders, or athletes.  Many of us were these people and we refer to those times as “the good old days”.  We long to go back to those happy, carefree days of no pressure, no stress, and lots of laughter.  As we get older, we get married and settle down to raise a family.  The job and family pressures start to set in.  Stressful living becomes a daily reality.  We fight it every day of our lives…at home and at work.

Adopting Dogs, Cats, Puppies, and Kittens

Are you ready to adopt a dog or cat? Congratulations! Adopting a pet is one of the most wonderful experiences – but make sure you’re prepared. Your to-do list includes shopping for supplies like food and bowls, necessary medications, bedding, toys, collars, and maybe kennels, and a litter box for a new cat. You’ll need to get into a grooming routine and understand the behavior issues that might affect your pet – particularly if your cat or dog comes from a shelter. Make sure your home is safe for your new resident and if you have children, make certain they understand how to behave around your new dog or cat.

What You’ll Need For Your Adoptive Dog

The day you adopt, rescue, or purchase a new dog you’ll need to prepare just as though you are bringing home a baby. Food is the first item on the list because it is the most important thing you can do for your dog’s heath.

Love and attention is also very necessary in the first few days. Remember that your pet may feel ill at ease in a new place and a little scared. Make sure to comfort and reassure your new dog as much as possible during this adjustment time.

Adopting a new pet is a 10-15+ year committment to a new family member. Read more about this special relationship.

Food:   Use a premium kibble. Your pet will be healthier, and you will save money in the long run. Azmira makes excellent dog food that suits dogs of all ages. Choose Lifestyle Lamb or Classic Beef.
Tips on how, when, and what to feed are in the Nutrition Section.
Water:   Filtered water is best. Change daily. Heavy ceramic crock pot liners make good water bowls because they keep water cool, are easy to clean, and are too heavy to knock over. Please don’t let your dog drink from the toilet.
Bowls:   Stainless bowls and unbreakable glass bowls are superior to plastic. Plastic bowls cause some dogs to develop skin allergies and acne on their faces.
Medications:   The 3 medications you want for your new dog are for fleas, heartworms and anxiety. Struggling with fleas after they invade is a nuisance. Treating your dog after it develops a heartworm infection is difficult and expensive. Avoid these problems. Your dog will be happier if it begins its life with you on medications it needs to prevent physical and emotional problems.

Bed:   Sleeping is as important to dogs as it is to people. You’ll want a washable, comfortable, located in a quiet spot. Ortho Dream Sleeper is the best dog bed made. It has a double-sided cushion so your dog can choose miracle foam or orthopedic foam. The bumper is at just the right height to support the neck and align the spine—especially important in physically active dogs and senior pets.
Collar or harness and leash:   A harness has several advantages over a collar: it allows you to walk a dog without damaging its throat if it pulls, and it allows you to hook the dog safely to the car seat. Some harnesses, such as The Easy Walk, were developed to stop dogs from pulling on the leash so that walking a joy rather than a tug of war. The Easy Walk Harness can be used to secure your dog in the car. Dogs enjoy wearing them.
Crate or kennel:   It’s not necessary to use a crate if your dog doesn’t like to be in one, but occasionally you will need a place to put your pet where you know it cannot escape, and crates are excellent. Some dogs actually prefer to have a crate because they feel more secure in their own space.Do not let children bother your dog while in its crate.Kennels are outside enclosures with chain link fencing. Kennels can make dogs feel isolated. Because dogs are pack members, they would rather be with you than isolated in the yard.
Potty place and poop disposal method:   Have a designated place for your dog to relieve itself. Have small garbage bags or a shovel handy so you can pick up poop immediately and dispose of it. Worms found in dog poop infect dogs and humans. These worms cause zoonotic disease. Removing feces prevents dogs from developing the habit of eating it (coprophagy).
Chew toys:   Fulfill your pet’s need to chew with toys or real bones. These will keep your dog busy and it will stay out of trouble. Choose the toughness of the toy based on your pet. Some dogs are bred to have gentle mouths and they are happy with soft toys, which last for years. Other dogs can destroy rubber tires. They need tough toys. The ASPCA suggests these chew toys for training and playtime.
Exercise area:   A tired dog is a good dog. If your yard isn’t big enough to exercise your pet, find a park or place to swim close by.

The good with the bad

I just want to take time off from talking about how some people are total loonies, and how sometimes ya just want to scream while your shopping or driving or at the mall or in an amusement park or pretty much anywhere out it the public.  Let’s not talk about the incompetent doctors and other professional people that are out there just to rip us off.  AS I said in the first posting of this blog I wanted to hear the good and the bad stories from you guys.  Well I told everyone my story about the “Dermatologist from hell” with pictures even!!   You can check it out at www.MJLMegaMeds.blogspot.com but now I’d like to tell you all about a different type of Doctor, one that cares and is truly talented in his field.   Keeping with my policy of not naming names (even for the good) I’ll use hints and initials.  Doc F. is a chiropractor located in the St. Louis area.  I’ve been going to him off and on for nearly 30 years now, and I have but one wish and that is that he could treat all my medical troubles i.e. flu, heart troubles, and in my case   MOLE REMOVAL!!  Also the other common aces and pains of life because he is the only medical man I totally trust and admire.   Now I know some say “A CHIROPRACTOR,” why their not even real doctors!   Well I’m here to tell you HOG WASH”.   Now days they have so many tools and avenues of healing at their fingertips it’s just amazing.  Where a medical Doctor will examine you and then make a diagnosis and then prescribe drugs to treat the symptoms.  Doc. F. will search for the root cause of the problem then attackit with tried and proven natural remedies i.e. vitamins and minerals, manual adjustments and some very new and modern procedures.  Auricular therapy is one tool used by many, (by the way Doc. F. teaches this procedure) it is a modern form of acupuncture but with out the invasive use of needles and is done painlessly through the ear!!   The good ones have ways to read your eye shape and patterns in our iris to give them clues as to what is going on in your body and how to approach the problem.  They also use hair analyses to determine your balance of vitamins and minerals in your body and what might be done to, again treat the root of the problem not the symptoms.  Doc. F. is by far the most dedicated medical man I ever had the pleasure of knowing.   If you are ever in the Florissant, Missouri area and are in need of the best Chiropractor in the business then Doc. F. is your man, just post a request to this page or my other blog www.MJLMegaMeds.blogspot.com and I’ll be sure you get his office number and you’ll be on the road to feeling better!!

STILL STUCK IN THE SUPERMARKET!! (part II)

.

Hey folks how the hell are ya’s?    Hope everyone is doing just fine out there.   I just wanted to bring everyone up to speed on how the “Dermatologist from hell” story is progressing.  It’s been a little over 3 months since the procedure and I’m going to have one nasty ass scar.  As of now I’ve received one bill from the dermatologist for the first office visit.   She spent about 10 mins. in the room with me and set the appointment to   scar me for life.   I think she has a lot of gall to even send me a bill for what she did to me.  My insurance company paid her $31.00 and she wants $35.00 from me…….HA HA HAHa like that’s gona happen.  The doctor that referred me to her has yet to send me a bill for the office visit.  I think he has talked with her and even he’s not happy with the way it went.  Of course you’ll never get one doctor to badmouth another no matter how wrong they are or how bad a job they did.   DON’T YA JUST HATE THAT!!!  Anyway that’s where we are with that issue.  I still haven’t heard from you guys as to the stories that I know you all have out there and are just waiting to be told.  SOOOO moving on…..my girl friend and me are still in the super market trying to get our groceries in the bags and out to the car.  Just to show you how people can be we where behind this one jerk the other day checking out, and at the store we go to you have a choice of using paper or plastic bags.   This is the kind of store where you bag your own groceries, I noticed as his stuff was being rung up he didn’t have any bags….paper or plastic.   After the checker got him all totaled up he told her he wanted cardboard boxes to put his groceries in.   The girl pointed to a shopping cart that had some boxes in it that had been broke down to be thrown away and said that is all they had.  OH that wasn’t good enough for this asshole.  He had to get the manager over there and he wouldn’t pay for his stuff until they found boxes that he approved of.  Then he got all loud and pissed off cause they charged him for them.  He said if you were going to throw them away any way why should he have to pay for them.  And guess who was stuck behind all this?????  Yepper my lady and me!!!   Sometimes ya just want to smack’em up side the head with a pound of thick sliced bacon!!   So maybe next time I’ll finally be out of the store and I can start relating stories about  IDIOTS ON THE ROAD!!!

STILL STUCK IN THE SUPERMARKET

Hi gang sorry it’s been awhile since the last time I wrote but I’ve been kinda busy with TRYING to FIND A JOB!!!!   Damn it’s down right brutal out there.  No one wants to hire an old man with a heart condition.  Oh well such is life (or not) hehehe   The last time my lady friend and myself where still in the super market trying to get checked out and trying to deal with the LOONS, both shoppers and workers “DON’T YA JUST HATE THAT”!!   Well I still want to talk about super markets and the stuff they sell in there or should I say the stuff they don’t sell.   Ya know we’re not picky eaters, we eat a large variety of foods, always like to try new and unusual stuff.  I got this really good recipe for salsa the other day and while it was really good it cost a frigin fortune to make.  I’d go back to buying the regular kind in the jar but everyone we try is tooo hot for us.  Except this one brand we found……which brings us to the latest  “don’t ya just hate that.”   Every time we find a product we both really like and can afford we get it one maybe two times then PUFFF it’s gone!!!   They don’t carry it  any more, but of course they won’t tell you that the first time you ask about it.  They’ll say “oh we have that on order and it should be in in a couple a days”.  Yeah Right!!   They know damn good an well they aren’t gona carry it anymore but hey don’t want you trying to find it at another store and maybe lose a sale.  “ Here get this It’s Just As GOOD”  Boy that pisses me off.  And the stuff they try and sell you isn’t even close to what you like about the product they no longer will care but won’t tell you about it!!  So maybe one of these days I’ll finally get out of the super market and can start screaming about something else. HEEHEEHE  Unless you guys have some good stories you would like to share with everyone.   COME ON LET’S HEAR THEM.   Send your stories to www.mufffinmannn58@yahoo.com or just leave a comment below!!

Exercises to Lose Weight – Choose the Ones That You Enjoy Doing

Get Liberty on the Ballot  Hey Folks it’s me again,  I’m not getting any stores from you guys…..what’s up with that??   COME ON lets hear them GOOD or BAD from all over the country!!   It’s getting kinda scary really, every time we feel just a little bit off we run to the Doctor and let them abuse us.  Take losing weight for example,  you know sometimes we don’t even have to go to the Doctor to do the right thing for ourselves.  Our ancestors did not need to go to the gym and exercise to lose weight because they did not gain weight in the first place. They had a very active lifestyle that involved hunting for food, collecting fallen tree branches for firewood and being constantly on the move as nomads. When villages were set up they were still involved in hunting and building shelters which provided them sufficient physical activity. Food was scarce and the human body adapted in a manner that it stored food as fat, which could be used for energy as and when the need arose.

Man moved from villages and towns to cities and along with it found ways and means to reduce physical activity. However, the body retained its natural process of storing fat for emergencies. And this today is probably the reason why we have a large number of overweight people across the world. Man is yet to discover a magic pill or formula to bypass the process of storing fat. Exercise is still the best, rather the only healthy way to lose fat.

Everyone hates to exercise unless strongly motivated. Exercise is indeed hard work. But it does not have to be drudgery because you can choose exercises that you enjoy. Some less rigorous ones may take more time to show results but almost all exercises result in some form of natural weight loss to an extent. Maybe you can use some helpful tips that will help you locate one for yourself.

  • Walking is perhaps the easiest. A 30 minute morning walk every day, 3 to 4 times a week if you cannot make it everyday, will keep you fresh and active. It will also promote weight loss. You may start with shorter walks and gradually move up to an hour. Pre dinner walks work equally well.
  • Swimming, that is if you can swim, is an enjoyable experience. Start slow and limit yourself to the strokes you already know. Gradually, as your conditioning improves, try to learn more strokes. If you do not know how to swim, you can choose to stick to water aerobics without moving towards the deep end of the pool. The resistance offered by water is sufficient for exercise while you go through the motions.
  • Joining a gym does not necessarily mean that you have do all the exercises and use all the equipment that you see everyone doing. Talk to the physical trainer there and seek help for selecting the ones you can easily do. You will make friends from the group who will keep you motivated.
  • Depending upon what you like doing the most, cycling, tennis, badminton and aerobics too are good activities for maintaining health, fitness and ensuring weight loss.

The basic idea is keep up a certain level of physical activity, which our sedentary lifestyles denies us. Along with exercise it also necessary that you eat healthy foods but in moderate quantities.   Don’t forget to check out the next page  Medical Stories by YOU!!
